I tried stand-up comedy for the first time 12 years ago, freshly arrived in Chicago from Caracas, during a Stand Up Comedy class at the Chicago Portfolio School. I was terrified because my English wasn’t perfect. The final show finally came, and when I went on stage, the teacher had to get me off. I had gone way over time by 4 minutes. It was the best 8 minutes of my life.

Then, I focused entirely on advertising until two years ago, after a breakup, I asked myself what my other love was. The answer was comedy. So we fell in love again and moved to NYC to commit fully and here are a few bits from my shows. The relationship is doing better than any other date I’ve had in NYC so far.
